PC versions available on starflt.com

Several variations of the PC games may be downloaded from my site. The Amiga and Genesis versions are floating around as well and have somewhat different gameplay and arguably better controls.

If you have any trouble with any of these versions or new suggestions, please let me know.

FYI, the best way I know to embed an ICO file within an EXE is the freeware program "Resource Hacker."

Also "Advanced Installer" creates professional MSI install files very easily for free as long as you use the template/"Generic installer project: simple"

I've considered updating the DFend/DOSBOX versions of this package several times but there is no real features in the newer versions that SF1 & SF2 could benefit from.

Compatibility with modern OS's would probably be the only reason I can think of to update. If I recall last year I couldn't run your old Amiga SF copy unless I stuck it in a XP VM. I 'think' I had no problems with the doxbox Dfend copy on my Win 7 machine. Haven't tried in Win 10.
