I have been stuck on the " Stellar Data " Mission. I tried the hostile approach and have been destroying tafel ships left and right and nothing so I started another game and went with the friendly approach and still nothing. I am running the Freelancer class. Any help would be nice thank you in advance

It's a Tafel Data System - 10% chance of it dropping every time you destroy a Tafel ship. If you're not close enough to catch minerals when the ships blow, you won't have a chance to grab one of these either. If you are collecting minerals from destroyed ships and nothing else - let me know how many you destroy in a row without obtaining one.

Originally you could talk to them and obtain it another way, but lack of artwork made us throw out all of the dialogue and make the entire race hostile.
