Radium & Uranium?

Post by Corgano »

Hello all! :)

Ok... I have a question about finding minerals. I'm currently dealing with the Thrynn and I need 10 minerals of either: Radium or Uranium. I have been searching the forums trying to find where these types of minerals are mostly located. IE, on molten planets? I was thinking that someone would have produced some type of listing for minerals, but I guess no one has yet? So, if someone knows where those 2 minerals show up most, could you please tell me.

Thank you for your time in advance and thanks to the creators of this great game!!!

If you talk to all of the races that will talk to you and you ask them to comment about "OTHER RACES", one race will tell you that another race trades a lot of radioactive waste.

Go and search the planets in the radioactive waste traders territory. I have never found Uranium anywhere in the game, but one of the planets in the traders region has small amounts of Radium.

If you need more hints, let me know and I will send you a private post.

Good Luck and Good Hunting.

Ahh... thank you! I'll begin my inquires soon.
I was hoping I didn't have to blast Elowans'
ships to get the minerals that I need. :D

Good idea. I am going to make uranium a little more common in the next version. It was an oversight to have it missing from all the planets.

Here's a listing of all of the minerals:

-- 6 - Plutonium (elowan)
-- 30 - Lead (molten, frozen, asteroid, acidic, spemin)
-- 31 - Iron (oceanic, molten, frozen, asteroid, acidic, spemin, coalition, barzhon)
-- 32 - Cobalt (oceanic, molten, frozen, acidic)
-- 33 - Nickel (oceanic, molten, frozen, asteroid, acidic)
-- 34 - Copper (oceanic, molten, frozen, asteroid, thrynn, barzhon)
-- 35 - Zinc (oceanic, molten, frozen, asteroid, acidic, thrynn, coalition)
-- 36 - Molybdenum (oceanic, elowan)
-- 37 - Tin (oceanic, frozen, asteroid)
-- 38 - Magnesium (oceanic, frozen, acidic, coalition)
-- 39 - Aluminum (oceanic, molten, frozen, asteroid, spemin)
-- 40 - Titanium (oceanic, frozen)
-- 41 - Potassium (oceanic, molten, frozen)
-- 42 - Antimony (oceanic, rocky)
-- 43 - Sulfur (oceanic, molten, acidic)
-- 44 - Silica (oceanic)
-- 45 - Busmuth (oceanic, molten)
-- 46 - Silver (oceanic)
-- 47 - Gold (oceanic)
-- 48 - Platinum (oceanic)
-- 49 - Thorium (oceanic)
-- 50 - Iridium (oceanic, barzhon)
-- 51 - Radium (frozen)
-- 52 - Uranium (asteroid, acidic, elowan) -- Only available from Elowan in 1.01, this table represents version 1.02
-- 53 - Quorsitanium (molten, minex)
