Endurium shortage???!!!

Post by Duke1982 »

Why am I NOT finding any Endurium on the planets it's supposed to be on anymore? I was finding it just fine on Oceanic, Frozen, and Molten planets, but now I can't find one single ore. I just now completely scanned a Molten planet 5 times in the home system and could not find any Endurium anywhere! I finding everything BUT Endurium!

Endurium is treated just as if it was another mineral -- it can be found on all planets except for asteroids. The game places a random quantity of each type of mineral that the planet "supports" in sequence, so it should not be any more or less common than any other mineral.

For example, molten planets support 12 different minerals, and endurium is #12, so either you have been extremely unlikely and it was placed in a random inaccessible area the last five times, or it is still there somewhere.

Frozen planets have 13 minerals
Oceanic planets have 21 minerals
Rocky planets have 16 minerals

So everything else being equally random, your best bet would be to find Endurium on frozen or molten planets

No endurium on acidic planets. I believe this is up to date:

-- 6 - Plutonium (elowan)
-- 30 - Lead (molten, frozen, asteroid, acidic, spemin)
-- 31 - Iron (oceanic, molten, frozen, asteroid, acidic, spemin, coalition, barzhon)
-- 32 - Cobalt (oceanic, molten, frozen, acidic)
-- 33 - Nickel (oceanic, molten, frozen, asteroid, acidic)
-- 34 - Copper (oceanic, molten, frozen, asteroid, thrynn, barzhon)
-- 35 - Zinc (oceanic, molten, frozen, asteroid, acidic, thrynn, coalition)
-- 36 - Molybdenum (oceanic, elowan)
-- 37 - Tin (oceanic, frozen, asteroid)
-- 38 - Magnesium (oceanic, frozen, acidic, coalition)
-- 39 - Aluminum (oceanic, molten, frozen, asteroid, spemin)
-- 40 - Titanium (oceanic, frozen)
-- 41 - Potassium (oceanic, molten, frozen)
-- 42 - Antimony (oceanic)
-- 43 - Sulfur (oceanic, molten, acidic)
-- 44 - Silica (oceanic)
-- 45 - Busmuth (oceanic, molten)
-- 46 - Silver (oceanic)
-- 47 - Gold (oceanic)
-- 48 - Platinum (oceanic)
-- 49 - Thorium (oceanic)
-- 50 - Iridium (oceanic, barzhon)
-- 51 - Radium (frozen)
-- 52 - Uranium (asteroid, acidic, elowan)
-- 53 - Quorsitanium (molten, minex)
-- 54 - Endurium (oceanic, molten, frozen, rocky)
